  • What Treatments are there for Rosacea Acne?

Rosacea Acne is a skin condition which is not as severe as Acne. Although Rosacea Acne affects the face, it is more of a neurological condition than a skin condition. The skin becomes so sensitive to fluctuations in temperature as well as other cosmetics and chemicals. This leads to itching, redness on the cheeks, nose forehead, and the entire face. The main cause of Rosacea Acne is not known, despite the different explanations by medical professionals. Consequently, the main treatment of Rosacea Acne is not yet known.

Among the tried out treatments which have shown positive results are such as the use of DGL. Dermatologists have proved that there is a relationship between bacteria and Rosacea. The use of antibiotics is effective in killing these bacteria, and thus consequent healing of Rosacea Acne. The other way to avoid Rosacea is by avoiding Acne triggers. Rosacea-affected skin is very sensitive to variations in temperature as well as different chemicals.

Therefore, by avoiding sudden changes to these factors, you will have done enough justice to your skin. Thirdly, avoid antacids which may do more harm than good to your Rosacea-infected skin. Therefore, treatment of Rosacea is more of a management process than curing.
