Junk foods & acne: How are they related?
Junk food and acne share a proportional and direct relationship. The more we take junk food, the more we risk ourselves to acne. Being busy, one finds it difficult to give enough time in improving food habits. Hence the dependence upon the junk foods is growing at an alarming rate. But, it has many devastating effects on the body particularly skin which becomes vulnerable to acne. But, giving up the habit of relying on junk food is as difficult as giving up smoking and drinking.
It is so because they have a pleasant taste. But, one should remember that they contain fats which are quite unhealthy and bring about many diseases in the body.
One can certainly follow these to reduce the dependability on junk food by working out a balanced diet comprising of fruits and vegetables which contain proteins, vitamins and minerals. The oils and fats in the junk food can affect the pores. Taking salad facilitates excretion and hence should be made a part of the diet. In this way it facilitates the expulsion of harmful toxins for a healthier body and more importantly, a healthier skin free of acne.
