Although enough research has not been done on Acne, it is evident that there are types of Acne which are more common on women than men, and the vice versa.

    Some of the other interesting factors that cause Acne are due to hereditary reasons. Heavy usage of soaps, detergents and other cosmetics also cause the occurrence of Acne on an individual whether male or female. Therefore, there are a number of factors which contribute a lot to whether on type of Acne affects a woman or a man.
