Is Chest Acne Unusual?

Acne is a general term used to denote a skin disorder condition. Acne can be seen occurring in different regions of the body. It is commonly found to occur in regions like face, neck and also chest. It may also occur on scalp of the head. Having acne on chest can be really embarrassing. This could create quite inconvenient conditions wherever we go.

This has an effect on what we do and what we wear as well as how we feel in front of others. Nobody would like to show off the chest when contracted with acne in that region. Some may even try to avoid places like gyms and beaches just because they have contracted acne. Chest acne can be a real pain when living with a partner. As far as the question whether chest acne is unusual should be answered as “no”. This is because it is quite a common problem when there is excessive sebum excretion on the pores of the skin in the chest region which when hardened and contacted by bacteria can lead to the conditions of acne.

It is the hormones that decide the occurrence of acne on the skin. Having healthy food and cleansing the skin periodically can resolve this problem.
