Acne - Who is affected by Rosacea?
Rosacea is atypical skin condition where the skin gains redness at different regions on the body. It is one of those very common types of conditions which afflict adults generally in the age group between 30 and 60 years. There are also cases where it is known to afflict children as well. as such Rosacea is a condition that can afflict people of almost any age group.
It does not have any distinction between men and women. Any sex among humans is bound to be afflicted by this skin disorder. But there is a genetic corner associated with this disease. It is observed that rosacea is prone to be afflicted by a person who has a confirmed case of affliction either in his family or among his relatives. Regionally, it has been observed that people of specific regions were afflicted more than any people of any other region.
People in Ireland and northern Europe are more likely to be afflicted by this disorder though there is no supporting stance of this claim. Medically, rosacea is not a contagious disease as it does not spread from one person to other.
But it does have some hereditary corner. In short, there is no specific demarcation of age or sex associated with the affliction by rosacea.
