Treating acne with Antibiotics
Acne is treated depending on the skin condition and type of acne the patient has. It could get better by drinking water, eating of vegetables and fruits. Skin type of the person plays a key role in deciding either antibiotic should be used or not. Antibiotics are not very much appreciated by many practicing doctors as it destroys the natural immune system of the body and starts to play its own role. The healthy cells of the body are also affected with the damaged cells that are causing the acne.
There are many popularly known medicines for the acne like doxycycline hyclate which is used for sever acne. In a research held for the use of anti biotic researchers get to the result of not using antibiotic on large scale after testing 200 test subjects from which only 12 % of test subjects are not affected by the anti biotic the rest were not able to endure it.
However there are cases where only antibiotic helped doctors in curing the acne and the patients are happy with the results. The early age acne in teenagers is mostly preferred to be treated with anti biotic as it kills the bacteria causing acne in its early age. However the acne Vulgaris that is caused by the oily skin type is normally treated by only self care by the patient and keeping the face and body clean.
