  • Acne Treatment using Benzaclin

Natural cures of acne are always preferred to chemical treatment of the same. Harsh chemicals are always not the best for acne treatment especially in its mild state. However, in some cases, acne is so severe, and despite using all manner of natural treatment, it may not change. In fact, in some cases it has deteriorated to worse although the patient is under treatment. At such a point, chemical treatment of acne is called for.

Benzaclin is one such chemical, that doctors will always prescribe when acne has defied all other natural methods.  Benzaclin is an over the counter name for benzoyl peroxide. Sometimes acne may persist even for 10 years. It is in such a case that the fundamental question of whether benzaclin is a substance worth the trial, should come in. Bezaclin increases the level of oxygen in the pores of your skin thus killing the bacteria that causes acne.

As with any other treatment, benzaclin has its share of side effects. When trying such a chemical and especially for a prolonged period of time, it is always advisable to ensure you take its side effects into consideration. For example, it is associated with irritation of the skin, reddening, dryness and burning.
